Joined Fixrate as Chairman in 2024. Head of Nordnet Norway for 16 years. Previous experience from board positions in Verdipapirforetakenes Forbund, AksjeNorge and Nordnet Livsforsikring.

Brynjar Ellingsen

Board member

Founded Fixrate in 2017. Former CEO of Sparebank1 SMN Pension fund with broad banking experience through various product management positions in SpareBank1 SMN.

Sigurd Stendal

Board member

Co-founded Fixrate. Previously started multiple successful companies such as Signicat which currently has over NOK 1bn in revenue.

Ragnar Kårhus

Senior Advisor M&A, Schibsted

Joined the Fixrate board in 2025 as Schibsted’s representative. Experience from board positions at Lendo Group and Mitt Anbud in addition to management experience from Schibsted and Telenor.

Einar Bangstad

Board member

First external investor in Fixrate. Broad experience from the banking and finance industry. Currently also working as a consultant to the public sector.
